Why clients stay

One workspace for the people, the prices, and the payment record.

Ward-level matching stays. You also get written labour prices, material comparisons, delivery updates, and stage-by-stage payment, with a quick path when the job is small.

People and materials together

Choose verified fundis in the ward, then compare hardware and equipment-hire quotes. One project holds the team, the prices, and the messages.

Pay only the stage you approve

On a protected build, you pay the professional directly by M-Pesa. A stage stays blocked until the professional marks it ready, you accept an itemized labour quote, and you confirm that you inspected the stage. Only then do you record the payment reference. A dispute blocks that payment. Star scores, written comments, and photos from finished jobs show as soon as the client sends them. JengaLink does not charge a fee and does not hold the money.

Small jobs stay simple

A quick repair can stay a conversation. Itemized quotes, retention, and delivery checks are there when the job needs them, and you can install the site on your phone.

Before you pay

Check the work before you pay.

JengaLink introduces you to verified people and keeps the written quotes and the payment record. JengaLink does not hold your money, and it does not own the quarries, shops, or trucks.

Do not pay a deposit first

On a protected build, a stage stays blocked until the professional marks it ready, you accept a written labour quote, and you confirm that you inspected the stage. A retention stage has to stay unpaid until the other stages are finished. No other stage can be paid while a problem is open.

Count the delivery before you pay

Every materials quote includes delivery and offloading, even when that cost is zero because you will collect the goods. The supplier has to confirm the goods are still in stock before the quote can be accepted. Pay only after you count the items at the site.

Check the NCA register before major work

A main contractor, mason, or structural engineer cannot join a house, commercial build, or renovation until an NCA number is on that profile. A stage cannot be paid while that number is missing. Open the National Construction Authority register and check the number yourself.

Check it on the NCA register

Permits stay with the county

On a new house or commercial build, stage payments stay blocked until you save the county approval reference. You still collect that reference from the county. JengaLink does not submit the application.

End-to-end workflow

From project request to a responsive team.

1

Send your project brief

Share the project type, location, budget, trades, and details. Create a client password right after submitting so you can return anytime.

2

Choose your professionals

Review verified matches for each trade. You can select the recommendations or browse other verified professionals nearby.

3

Add suppliers if needed

Ask nearby suppliers for the materials and hired machines you need. Compare the totals and delivery time, then accept one quote or continue without materials.

4

Track every response

Reserve each milestone only when you are ready, and release it after you approve that part of the work. A small repair can skip milestones and stay a direct conversation.

Client help

Frequently asked questions

Learn how project requests, matching, suppliers, and client feedback work on JengaLink.

How do I request help with a construction project?

Enter your project type, location down to the ward, requested professions, and project details. After submitting, create a client password if you are signed out, choose your professionals, then add suppliers if needed.

How are professionals recommended?

JengaLink recommends active, verified professionals for each requested trade, ordering by location proximity and then client star scores. You can review the recommendations and choose your team.

Can I choose suppliers myself?

After you confirm your professional team, choose supply categories to compare nearby verified suppliers and select who should receive each supply request.

When can I leave a rating or feedback?

After the project is marked complete, your star score, written comment, and photos appear for other clients as soon as you send them. Your name and contact details are not shown.

Can I include project photos or videos with my feedback?

Yes. Attach up to five JPEG, PNG, or WebP photos, or MP4 or WebM videos. The photos and videos appear with your comment. Your name and contact details are not shown.

Why can’t I find my project review link?

Open the private project link from your confirmation page, or sign in to the client account that saved the project. A guest project can be saved to any email from that private link.

How are stage payments protected?

On a protected build, you pay the professional directly only after the professional marks the stage ready, you have accepted an itemized labour quote, and you confirm that you inspected the stage. You record the M-Pesa reference here. Do not send a deposit first. A dispute blocks that stage. JengaLink does not hold the money and does not charge a fee. A quick repair can skip this.

Can I compare prices for materials and hired machines?

Selected suppliers send a written quote for the materials or hired machines you need, including delivery and offloading. You see the lowest total first, then follow the delivery through preparing, on the way, and delivered. Pay only after you count the goods. A quote is the supplier's written price, not a live stock count.

Does JengaLink issue NCA licences or building permits?

No. A professional can show an NCA number for you to check on the National Construction Authority register. County building approvals, physical surveying, and EPRA or NCA project permits are handled only by those authorities. JengaLink does not submit them.

Can I use JengaLink on my phone?

Yes. Open the site in Chrome or Safari and add it to your home screen. It opens like an app, with the same ward matching, quotes, and payment record.
